We believe it is important at an early age of development to provide for families resources and opportunities to volunteer together in their neighborhoods\, local community\, state\, country\, and the world.\n\nWe are committed through the volunteering platform of A VERY GOOD DEED to supporting families by providing tools to participate in hands-on activities and events together with a focus on giving back. With the generous assistance of our community and corporate partners\, our goal is to build and deliver 100 Backpacks that will contribute to the 1\,000 backpacks CHS hopes to donate. \nWith the passion and teamwork of our AVGD Family Volunteers we know it will be a successful endeavor. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEVENT OVERVIEW\n\n\n\nWe want for you to enjoy and engage your children during this event\, therefore we have taken the work out of it for you. Come prepared to “build-a-backpack” with your family. Work your way through our pre-prepped school supply stations set up with back-to-school essential supplies. You will have the opportunity to work at your pace and rotate through each station as you connect with your community\, your children and the cause. \nThere will be a dedicated activity table where you and your children can color and/or draw pictures and write notes to personalize their special donation of time. \n\n\n  \n\n\n\nCONNECT\n\nHoward Bishop Middle School is a Community Partnership School and one of CHS’ most recent additions. Come prepared to “build” baskets with your family. There will be multiple stations set up with various items\, you will rotate through each station and create your own Basket of Sunshine for a special child. \nA separate activity table will be set-up for children to personally draw pictures and write notes to personalize their gift. \n\n\n\n\n\nCONNECT\n\nAll the ‘Baskets’ will be delivered after the event to brighten lives and support children and families staying at the Ronald McDonald house of North Central Florida.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\nLIFE LESSON\n\n\n\nBy partaking in these activities consistent with your children\, the desired result is that children will begin to cultivate a spirit of gratitude based on their own set of experiences versus a parent or elder only telling them.\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease Don’t Forget to Prepay\n\n\nWe are asking for a minimum donation of $15 per Basket.
